vern Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Hi, can anyone help identify which carbs these are on my 91 1100? I had them refurbed and I think the guy had put the wrong needle jets in as they seem to be too long. Quote
wraith Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 There should, if it's not came off a number one the body of the carbs. Do you know if they are 36mm or 38mm ? Quote

Upshotknothole Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Hard to say from that side. They look stock, but without seeing the other side and if there's a power jet circuit or not, and without knowing the size, all of the BST carbs from back then look pretty similar. Quote

Thanks Hi, Ok, the internal diameter where it goes to the inlet manifold is 40mm, which I'm assuming means it is a bst40? But, the book says the needle jet is a p2 which is what is fitted, but it moves by 3mm! Pics attached. Quote
Nik Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Show us a photo of the left-hand side. There should be a part no. Quote

baldrick Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 if they are 40mm inlets then they are the right carbs for a 91 1100m model id be more worried about those filters, they never work right, do you still have the airbox? if so id fit it. Also the emulsion tube looks like its moving, which isnt good. id be taking them off for a strip down and check, persona;lly 1 Quote

It's like they are too long. I sent them for a clean and overhaul but the guy says he didn't change them, so I'm a bit stumped. I don't have an Airbox yet, but am looking for one. Quote
