Help and advice needed.

Hi everyone,my first time on here and wondering if any one can help me with this please. A close friend of mine passed a few years ago and has left a Suzuki 750 in his late wives garage. I'm not sure what it is?? Just wondering if anyone can identify it as it's a bit of a mongrel. I know it's a Suzuki 750, it has aftermarket Front forks and a different rear end. I'm sure it was originally a twin shock.Not sure if it was a Katarna or a Gsx 750???? The Fuel tank has been now sold, just wondering what other tank might fit ok?? Any other makes or models?? Sorry for all the questions and I would really appreciate any help.

Looks like a gsx 750 et with slingshot front end and swingarm etc.  little bit of tank showing in one of the pics looking a bit katana like. Rear subframe from something else or home made. Was originally a twin shock bike. Nice Harris pipe on there.

Thank you so much for your input, The Tank has been sold so I'm looking for a replacement, I'm thinking of turning it into a bit of a Café Racer prodject. Any ideas on what might fit ok?? Or is it a bit trail and error?

Whatever you do, ensure that you change the alloy bolts especially those that are in structurally important areas such as the ones attaching the subframe to the main frame

Going by the bit of tank visible in the 9th pic it had a Katana tank on it. So tanks which will drop straight on are Katana 1100 or 750, GSX1100 or 750 ET/EX/ES/EZ none will be cheap as they're all getting thin on the ground now, but those I've suggested are roughly in order of cost with the most expensive first. With it being a non-standard sub-frame you may or may not have some issues clearing the back of the tank or finding a seat to match up.
