Boost guage plumbing.

Excuse me if it's a daft question, can I plumb the boost guage into the pipe from the turbo to the actuator? Or am I better off fitting a take off to the plenum.

Can do but the extra pipe air volume may slow activation of the gate - a short line to the gate is preferred so a separate guage line from plenum is usual choice!

Ta. I will fit a take off to the plenum. (y) Every day is a school day.

Off the carb top if you have bandit carbs,or the vacuum take off on tin top 34s as alternatives to the plenum.

Had it running today. Boost guage was going mental. Did you have to do anything to damp the needle @Paulm?

I connected all 4 carbs tops to a manifold then used this to feed the boost gauge . It will pulse with just being on one especially on tick over.

I will try that. Thanks bud. O.o

Use a glycerine filled gauge - then no issues.
