Paddy Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Hello, Anyone know where I can get a smaller rear sprocket (less than 43T) for a 1988 750 slingshot rear wheel ? Thanks. Quote
denisd Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Well Paddy, you can probably find what you want on the JT sprockets website, not sure about DID. 1 Quote
wraith Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Look for the code on your sprocket and then look. The same code will fit different bikes 1 Quote
colinworth79 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Renthal do a custom service if you want to go outside the normal section they have on the shelf . Maybe thinking about going bigger on the front to raise the gearing that smaller on the back . If you go too small on the back the chain guide/ buffer won't last long as the chain will be going up and over the swing arm . 2 Quote
Upshotknothole Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Yeah, easier to go with a larger front sprocket than a smaller rear. Better for the chain too. Quote
