GeorgeEI7KO
I have a question concerning a V710 motor I got I got it very cheap as it was disassembled but there is no crank. Will a b12 crank fit as I know where there is one of them. Any advice would be gratefully received G Quote Link to comment
Wagola
Different cam chains used in the GSXR1100 and Bandit 1200 engines. So may need bandit cams or swap the cam wheels over ? Quote Link to comment

That's an interesting point - a M8 rebuilt his Bindit ( he sold you the Harris F1 ) with a GSXR crank so obvs needed a std roller chain but i'm fairly sure he didn't change the cam cover or add extra's into the head! I'm interested now to find out what's under the cover in that engine LOL! Quote Link to comment

He must have the idler roller as the chain is tooooo long else, and there might be enough room with the runner still attached to the cover? never tried it with gsxr cam chain and bandit cover, only done it the other way round. Gixer1460
Could have a short chain is an option I guess! I've made longer chains before so shortened isn't a big deal. Quote Link to comment
