front end in mag2

Hi all. If i wanted to use gsxr1000 forks, lets say K4. They are 725mm. What is the Learnerbike for poofs top yoke folk use? Stepped one? How much is it stepped?

How hard is it to fit a slingshot front wheel? Need the front wheel cos dont think 6" will fit in rear

2 inch step, use k series forks, rest just bearings and spacers.....

Standard Mag II swing arm its hard to put a 5.5" rear in, but possible. A lot of people just ran the 4.5" rear. Doubt a 6" would fit.

Iv lowered my a tad so shorter forks aren't too much of an issue for me. But generally they sit quite high with standard shock length.

Im still not 100% sure about them?? i still like yhe white ally wheels that were on there

This is mine with 750M forks.

Was going to fit ZX9R, but they were shorter again. Massive stanchions 'tho! Ignore the at tank,. Got rid or it ages ago for a Mag 4 one!

Got new stem made (longer than std. M). Harris supplied bearing, can't remember if it was top or bottom. Not special  size bearing, Harris just ream out to match. In my case it was 52mm OD - 30mm ID @‌ £18 plus vat. That was 2006 price.

Plus, what I was thinking of at the time was, R1 forks fit straight into the M yokes, meaning lighter front wheel, and 'Blue Spot' callipers!
