Nocke Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Hello, hope someone can answer my question :-)When i use this Kit, must be the original/inside Oillines to the Cylinderhead closed, or is it possible to leave them opened?Thank´s for your help!Nils Quote
Sweary Bob Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 If you've got the engine apart you might as well block the oil way in the top of the block. if the engine is built don't worry as the external oil lines will just be another passageway to the rockers for oil. 1 Quote

nightrider Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Is there any advantage in blocking them? Quote
Gixer1460 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Advantage is increase in oil pressure, reduction of oil temp by not passing oil through the hot block and avoidance of the notoriously leaky block / cases joint. Easy enough to do - tap hole M6 and add grub screws - job done. 1 Quote
Phill106 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 If anyone was wondering about a set of these daves priced at £160+p&p Quote
