At last we started racing, fueling problems and 40 mph headwind Saturday meant no good times. After a few repairs Sunday morning hit the track and played again. Managed a new PB of 10.32 @ 139 mph. Onwards to the next meeting, the 9s is looking good!!

No its not Comp Bike, the CB is for Challenge Bike (RWYB Challenge). Still a good crowd of lads and lasses though!!

As promised here is the Race Report, weather was always looking doughtful. At 3.00 we were called to the pairing lanes only for it to start raining again!! Meeting was called off, but we did manage a bit of testing in the paddock area so all is looking good for the next meeting.

If ya want to keep it real, go headwork on the efe. If you want to be consistent and win go for the boring Busa. Just an old guy's ramblings...

October 13th was the last points meeting and tough going into a stong headwind. Only managed a 10.7 best run, but when all the points were added up we ended up 7th in the Challenge out of 32 competitors. Really happy with that as our aim was for a top 10 finish. Winter modifications are all ready to be fitted and tested. Roll on next season and more fun. Check out 'Rents go Racing on fb for vids and more info.

Back at Pod on 22nd September (points meeting). Going to drop tyre pressure and see if that helps, then start to ramp up the launch rpm.

First event running Nitrous went well. Anna is happy with the Soft settings so next meeting we will start to shorten the "Ramp up time" until she' happy with the power delivery. After that we will start pulling it back towards the 60' area. Onwards and faster!!!

Time to step up and punch in the Nitrous!!

Running a 190 on a 5.5 rim at 15 psi.

Found this inside the tyre when we fitted new Shinko!! Deffo not ours, at least it' confirmed that it wasn' a tyre failure.

Run it at 15psi, photo makes it look more worn than it actually is (probably just over half worn).

Loads of runs at the Pod today, back down in the low 11s and ready for a 10 and then this happened!! Anna says she felt it as she slowed down and started to turn off the track. Not sure if she ran over something or the tyre gave in. Instant flat and wild ride, so in the van and fit the spare new Shinko on Monday. New spare already ordered!!

2 meetings so far and not much to report. Due to adverse weather and cold track we aren' getting track time to dial in new set up. Hopefully dryer/warmer this weekend so should start hitting the numbers again.

If they were Wizards of Nos fogger thread could be 10mm!! Best check.

I see Sean has now got this bike, shame it never went on open sale. Look forward to seeing it on the track?

Cold, snowing and -3 air temp don't make for great times!! Managed to get one run in before they abandoned the meeting, wheel spin in every gear (new cold track). At least we got a free pass for the next event.
