GSX1100et and 750et frames

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 1100 and 750 et frames?

And if there are what are they?

The only difference is the the position of the lower engine mounts in the middle of the bottom frame rail. If you put an 1100 motor in a 750 frame you have to make a small adapter plate to move the engine mounting point forward 10mm. Or you can run without them which some people do.

Have run without bottom mounts on my 7/11 for few years now - never been a problem . Even when it comes to an MOT .

Did a 750 build with a 1100 lump like Katanamangler says.

Very easy, went in without a problem.

I bought a 750 frame last night and already have an 11.

Not aware of anything other than the bottom engine mounts but if I spot anything (unlikely)  I will post it up. I asked the same and all info was I could use either.

If ya think about it folk dont use bottom mounts when these engines are mounted to trick frames. Harris. Spondon erc

You will have to make new mounts anyway if you are putting an oil cooled motor in either frame.
