JannPedersen Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 I've recently bought an old GSX 1100 F (1991) on which some not-so-skilled mechanic has apparently in its past made quite a few bad things!... I'm about to restore those things now, and I'm quite confident I'll succeed in doing so... I have one question, though: The two vent tubes on the picture (no. 5 and no. 14)...on my bike it's the same tube connected to the two studs. Is this the way it's meant to be - or is it supposed to be two separate tubes?... Quote
Blubber Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Hi and welcome to OSS. Please post an intro in the general section. Helps to loosen the tongue... its like virtual beer on here. And when some says RTFR... it means : read the f*cking rules. RTFM is read the f*cking manual. Think you'll be alright now Quote

CockneyRick Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 So some numpty has used 1 pipe to join the 2 vent hose spigots? Quote
mikeyd Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 That vents the float bowls so bike will never run or run right. just cut the tube in the middle or remove it all together. 1 Quote
