zed Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Good that the original owner has seen his old bike back on the road after all these years Quote

There is hardly anything on it or inside it thats standard, Wiseco pistons, Kent Cams, Dyna Coils, welded crank, multi angled valves, the frames welded etc... nearly all the nuts and bolts are stainless. I was 21 when I had it built... Were did you get it from and how long have you had it ? Does it still have the VBS logo on the tank ? Any luck finding any photos? I'm ready to paint it now, want to put the VBS logo back on to, need to see position Quote
CSP2324 Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Yep not forgotten, just been busy with work, checked some months back where I thought they were but the photo's weren't there, I'm pretty sure I know where they are now. I'll try and grab them this weekend 1 Quote

I should have put the new tyres on first though, 25 year old rubber is scary.... Even dafter considering the new tyres are in the back of my van.... only last week I was adjusting the clutch which had to be "unfrozen" and accidentally lit up the rear 17yo old rubber in the driveway ! Very very cautious on the shake down ride for sure !!! 2 Quote

CSP2324 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Right, ive been to look through a load of boxes in storage to find the photos and to my annoyance I still can’t find them. Unfortunately when I moved some of the stuff got spread out to different locations including all of my photographs. I will find them at some point, this I do know. But that is of no use to you now. 1 Quote

I've spoke to Pip and he is sending me some pictures and VBS stickers so I can recreate the original look.. Thanks for looking though man Quote

Havoc Posted July 15, 2021 Author Posted July 15, 2021 Never much liked the way the bike sat. Too low at the rear. Looks like a mutt with worms draggin' it's arse over the rug. So today it was raised 12cm. Sits loads better. Raised by adding 20mm to the Doofer. Baked with a bit of VHT crinkle to weather proof.. Happy Chappie 12 Quote

Katana Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 It’s a stunning bike. The exhaust is great but 1800 miles firing behind it not so it’s fucking loud Quote

I can’t find the picture looking down at the tank ( but I will do, you know how long it took me to find these but its here somewhere ) I have a good one sat on the bike looking down at it so you can see exactly where the logo is but its in a box and I have not located it.
