Newbie here, hello.

Building a basket case 650 Kat and I’ve found all four valve inspection covers are missing.

Anyone help with a source for these, part numbers

cheers

Not from 'Katana' model but fairly sure will be same unless they are engraved ? - still available . . . . .  part # 11174-34201 in the USA at least @ about $30 each!

Pssst. they aren't valve inspection covers - they are just covers!

650 motor has the end caps secured from underneath, unlike the other gs models, i might have some but dont hold your breath, thy have a reputation for just flying off on the motorway, never to be seen again!

Thanks for the replies.

Is it not secured from the front?

that looks like a chain drive engine, so a 550, 650 is a shafty.

yes, but the post is about a katana, and the picture is clearly a katana stlyed 8valve motor in a bike, but not a shaft drive engine, so it cant be anything but a 550 kat  PLUS, its got screw through end caps on the cylinder head, and the 650 engine didnt have them. i dont think i could really have been clearer.
