Gumper Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Newbie here, hello. Building a basket case 650 Kat and I’ve found all four valve inspection covers are missing. Anyone help with a source for these, part numbers cheers Quote
Gixer1460 Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Not from 'Katana' model but fairly sure will be same unless they are engraved ? - still available . . . . . part # 11174-34201 in the USA at least @ about $30 each! Pssst. they aren't valve inspection covers - they are just covers! 1 Quote
johnr Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 650 motor has the end caps secured from underneath, unlike the other gs models, i might have some but dont hold your breath, thy have a reputation for just flying off on the motorway, never to be seen again! 1 Quote
Gumper Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 Thanks for the replies. Is it not secured from the front? Quote
Gumper Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 Could be Part # 11174-34201 looks the same as GS1000/850/550 etc Quote
johnr Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) not all of them are like that pic. like i said, theyre secured from underneath. Edited November 3, 2019 by johnr Quote

wraith Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Yes @Gixer1460and @johnrare both right the 650 are secured from underneath, all the gs650 do, the katana and GT. Welcome to OSS by the way 1 Quote
Gumper Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 Yes it’s a shaft drive bike and would like to keep to the original style covers if I can Quote
wraith Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 There maybe someone near to you, but UK is a bit vague Quote
