Nothing stopping you. But, they'll be tight! Good fitting screwdriver a must. New ones for re-assembly! Oh, and mark plates back/front, top/bottom and carb number! And put some support at the staked side so you don't distort the carrier plate when unscrewing! ;)

@rdubanditany details on where you got the cerakote from?

Was looking at Cerakote, Durakote and gunkote products a while back. Wonder how durible it would be on ally, like frames and swingarms(?)

Anyway here is a pic of set of bandit carbs that got the Gunkote treatment that I found on the web. Looks good. B|

Presumably it will all be in the surface preparation, like everything else. I for one cannot see how without specialist equipment such as an aquablaster,  a used set of carbs can be adequately prepared because there are just so many nooks and crannies in the surfaces. Just getting them really clean is often a Herculean task. The carbs in the picture have had a major strip because all the steel bits, including even the return springs, have been re-zinced but even then it's a pain in the arse to get all the alloy surfaces clean. What with all the cleaning and the cost of the coating kit and new seals and other o'rings, the costs would be well on the way to buying a new set of RSs. Anyway, each the their own I suppose:)
