Stewart750 Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Hey guys, just wondering how difficult it would be to put a slabby rear end in a 750et, front end is easy as the 1100 stem fits, but just wondered if it’s been done with little or great difficulty, thanks Quote
Blubber Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Kinda depends on your skills....Doesn’t It? In my mind...you just need to change 1 big thing...fitment. I have a efe frame with a bking rear...all i had to do is cut the frame, weld it back and make some spacers. Adding the lower mounts for the ET shocks on the slabby arm isn't a big thing. 1 Quote
johnr Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 or have a look how the german guys do it, cos of the tuv rules thay cant alter the frame so there are some ingenious monoshock conversions for twin shock suzukis that involve no welding to the frame and so are completely bolt on so reversible if you decide to switch back.
