Head cooler on slabby frame/tank!

Can't find where i originally asked the Q, so i'll ask again.

I asked, would the Slabby tank foul the AN6 fittings as they 90 degree over the top of engine.

I was told that no probs, it'll fit. Well it don't & is nowhere near!

I can't put the cam fittings down instead as the AN6 fitting will foul the carb. So how the hell do i get this to work?

That's the 2nd pic. The tank rests on the 90s & sits above by at least 4 inches

Ah - see that now a altered the pic brightness! Yes - forged 90's would be lots lower. A M8 used straight head fittings with 180 degree fittings which were orientated at about 45 degrees and the hoses were virtually sitting on the cam cover - doesn't help does it......LOL!

Mine face down, but I've used forged 90s rather than swept 90s like you have. The forged fittings clear the carbs.

I used the forged ones on the slabby i did, they were bigger an8 ones but the cleared the tank too

Maybe the lack of space is the 11 engine & tank in a 750 frame?

Yep. that's the issue on mine, no room between the 1100 donkey and tank in a 750 frame.

Your solution with the straight down fittings is how they run on the rrk with the factory fitted head cooler under the main cooler.
