The gear end is not connected to the spline yet, It will be similar to how you described.

Plumbed the air shifter lines in and fitted the rear sets properly. Will hopefully get it rolling at the weekend. Had a sneak peek at the paintwork and it looks amazing!

Current state of play while waiting for swing arm top hat spacers. Got a few bits to bolt on while I'm waiting. And maybe tidy the shed a bit!

Got hold of some rs36,s from facebook marketplace, main jet holder snapped off when opened up on one carb. Not a bargain after all. People do take the piss sometimes. All cleaned and rebuilt now ready to go.

Got some tecbike rearsets, same as used on my x7. Look pretty good for the price. Just need to beef up that bracket!

Chopped some unnecessary bits off the frame and made a simple seat support , not going with a standard seat. Using a fibreglass single seat because that's what the rider wanted.

No mate , sleeved on the inside quite substantially so should take it!

Bit of cutting and careful slotting together and the arms were ready to sneak over to my welding buddy, cheap extended arm if ever I saw one. Heavy though!

Started by removing and selling all the standard bits I didn't need, 750 engine and running gear raised some cash for my first upgrades. A complete bandit 6 rear end with 2 swinging arms and a bandit 1200 front .

Got a nice 1170 engine to go in it, that will get it some of the way.

Got this little nugget early last year to build into a 9 second dragbike beast on a budget. A lot of progress has been made and I will endeavour to show the main parts of my simple build.

Knocked up a couple of the above and they work perfectly, thanks eightball_hotrod
