Looks very similar to this Harris Gs1000. Sadly not my bike just out of my picture collection. Tis a beauty and nice that they kept the GS 1000 motor . Looks like `H` section Dymags, could be wrong

I reckon it`s a GS 1000 G with a shaft drive thingy, but I`m just guessing.

Looking good and ready for Summer

Remember seeing this built years ago and from this the owner turned it into cafe racer. Fine looking bike and home made frame. Don`t know what happened to it. One side blue and other side orangey. Water and fire ?

Thanks for that, never know might do some good on here. Lots fabricators etc might get same problem or other things that might cause it. Last metal shard I had in eye they used big like hypodermic needle to ease it out. Bloody horrific when you see something 2-4 times size of normal needle being insert into front of eyeball. How on earth you manged with fluid being injected I don`t know. As the saying goes `Glad it wasn`t me` but as you say , sorted now. So that`s a good result

Should coincide with beginning of Summer. I have to say I`ve had metal bits dug out of my eye in past and it`s not nice. Used to work in a factory and machinists didn`t always dust off machined parts and when came to spray would fly everywhere. Be in your hair so when take googles off would drop down into eyes. makes me shiver even today, thinking about it .Hope the eye heals up and no problems.

That`s a beauty and don`t think I`ve ever seen one on the road. Good that you have resurrected it ready for Summer. Be interesting to see how it goes and what you think of it

Sadly sold but so enjoyed riding the little slapper. BTR ride height adjuster, Adelin brake mastercylinder, this worked a treat and very impressed with feel and power. Stripped of decals as were pretty badly faded. After market clip ons set further forward which made it much more comfotable to ride. If you can call a SRAD comfortable. Also did the airbox modification to improve air flow. Felt completely different afterwards, much free`er revving Last but not least a pair of chinese rearsets which I was very impressed with quality Wish I hadn`t sold it, but that`s life
