  1. I'll check that out. Cheers
  2. The one in my hand is the original to the 94/95 swinger. Just to wide with the wheel centred. Still waiting on a rear caliper etc. Didnt know if the k caliper hanger would be better to use. Even if I have to use a torque arm.
  3. I know the disk from the centre of the wheel Is the same. But I was more looking at caliper hanger options. The wheel is centred Pic with spacer is temporary. I'm guessing that a top hat spacer made to sit flush with the hub. Then the original hanger machined down to fit. Or a k hanger??? I'm just not sure. First time looking at something like this.
  4. Hi all I'm in the process of doing the k1-4 5.5 rear wheel swap. My question is what caliper hanger do people use. Ive got a 94/5 top braced swinger in a 750 m. I would like to retain the stock hanger and not run a torque bar. I'm guessing I can get the hanger machined down. The find a disk to suit. Just wanted to know other peoples ideas. Any help appreciated Cheer
  5. I see. So I shall be replacing the bearings in the arm at some point. As this is all for mock up. Wasnt sure if the 750m arm crush tube fitted inside the w/c crush tube. So that will be something to do at the build stage. Cheers
  6. Cool. I'll get the 2 sleeves welded together then. And job done. Thanks for the help/advise
  7. Sound. So having them welded would be the best option then. I'm sure I've read that the spindle could bend. Without the smaller crush tube. I guess this is not the case then?
  8. Do I need to do anything about the crush tube. If I was to glue or weld the 2 sleeves together. Got the arm in. Used the w/c linkage and bones
  9. Thanks for the input. Seems straight forward enough. I'm not to worried about the wheel fitment as I'm hopefull going a different route with them.
  10. That's a good start thanks. I know I've seen the info before. Just cant find it. I dont have the frame in a rolling stage. So I guess I can just pull the swinger and see what fits. The geometry is my main concern
  11. Hi all. What parts do I need to use to fit a w/c swingarm into a oil cooled slingy frame. I know I have to sleeve the main pivot. But what linkage etc do i need to use. I have the complete slingy setup and the w/c swinger linkage and dogbone I've tried searching but cant find out. Cheers
  12. Holly........... straight in there
  13. Hi all. Dont have a turbo bike at present. But am about to start a project and I'm curious if the snail can be hidden behind a fairing. Oil cooled slingy. Looked/looking through projects pages etc. Pics would be a great help. Cheers
  14. Ah I do need to pick a stem up from him and heading near there mon/Tues @fatblokeonbandit
  15. Anyone near bridgwater taunton. Got something we can offer them up against???
  16. @Dezzasupposed to be like that. B12 at the front serpant at the back.
  17. That's with all collets lined up
  18. They wont fit a bandit. As the 2 inner pipes hit the cross brace under the cooler. The 2 inner pipes are a slight different shape aswell. Was thinking about changing route and building a slingy. As I have a bandit on the road. And 1 project bandit. And now fancy a slingy
  19. I was thinking frame clearance at the head.
  20. Hi all. Just a quick question. I know people use the ti downpipes from the k1-3 gsxr. But has anyone used the micron serpant downpipes. This would be for a slingy frame with 750 1100 or b12 motor. Advise appreciated. Pipes below as you all like pics Cheers
  21. Ah ok. Thanks for that dupersunc
  22. Hi all. Not in any rush to do this. But I am wanting to know if i cut the lower subframe rail where marked orange. Will I have a hole or will it be solid metal. I would start to the left of the line and then work my way in with a flap wheel (or whatever they are called) hope some one can help as I'm sure many frames have been cut about before. Cheers jon
