I'll check that out. Cheers

The one in my hand is the original to the 94/95 swinger. Just to wide with the wheel centred. Still waiting on a rear caliper etc. Didnt know if the k caliper hanger would be better to use. Even if I have to use a torque arm.
-
I know the disk from the centre of the wheel Is the same. But I was more looking at caliper hanger options. The wheel is centred Pic with spacer is temporary. I'm guessing that a top hat spacer made to sit flush with the hub. Then the original hanger machined down to fit. Or a k hanger??? I'm just not sure. First time looking at something like this.

Hi all I'm in the process of doing the k1-4 5.5 rear wheel swap. My question is what caliper hanger do people use. Ive got a 94/5 top braced swinger in a 750 m. I would like to retain the stock hanger and not run a torque bar. I'm guessing I can get the hanger machined down. The find a disk to suit. Just wanted to know other peoples ideas. Any help appreciated Cheer

I see. So I shall be replacing the bearings in the arm at some point. As this is all for mock up. Wasnt sure if the 750m arm crush tube fitted inside the w/c crush tube. So that will be something to do at the build stage. Cheers

Cool. I'll get the 2 sleeves welded together then. And job done. Thanks for the help/advise
-
Sound. So having them welded would be the best option then. I'm sure I've read that the spindle could bend. Without the smaller crush tube. I guess this is not the case then?
-
Do I need to do anything about the crush tube. If I was to glue or weld the 2 sleeves together. Got the arm in. Used the w/c linkage and bones

Thanks for the input. Seems straight forward enough. I'm not to worried about the wheel fitment as I'm hopefull going a different route with them.
-
That's a good start thanks. I know I've seen the info before. Just cant find it. I dont have the frame in a rolling stage. So I guess I can just pull the swinger and see what fits. The geometry is my main concern

Hi all. What parts do I need to use to fit a w/c swingarm into a oil cooled slingy frame. I know I have to sleeve the main pivot. But what linkage etc do i need to use. I have the complete slingy setup and the w/c swinger linkage and dogbone I've tried searching but cant find out. Cheers

Hi all. Dont have a turbo bike at present. But am about to start a project and I'm curious if the snail can be hidden behind a fairing. Oil cooled slingy. Looked/looking through projects pages etc. Pics would be a great help. Cheers

They wont fit a bandit. As the 2 inner pipes hit the cross brace under the cooler. The 2 inner pipes are a slight different shape aswell. Was thinking about changing route and building a slingy. As I have a bandit on the road. And 1 project bandit. And now fancy a slingy

Hi all. Just a quick question. I know people use the ti downpipes from the k1-3 gsxr. But has anyone used the micron serpant downpipes. This would be for a slingy frame with 750 1100 or b12 motor. Advise appreciated. Pipes below as you all like pics Cheers

Hi all. Not in any rush to do this. But I am wanting to know if i cut the lower subframe rail where marked orange. Will I have a hole or will it be solid metal. I would start to the left of the line and then work my way in with a flap wheel (or whatever they are called) hope some one can help as I'm sure many frames have been cut about before. Cheers jon
