Ahh so the hub is the same size?
Last winter I put a set of 17" wheels in a vmax, I used a 3" rim as it fit where a 3.5 need the inner fork machining down...
Thanks, sounds like either keep it with standard wheels or go for a full swop then..
Thanks
Edit - been checking out the 600 bandit rim is narrower at 3" rather than the 1200 at 3.5
Will a B12 wheel/ discs fit into the standard 1983 Kat 37mm forks?
Also is there any brake adapter plates available to use Nissan 4 pots with the forks?
Cheers
Its the 55mph warning light cos it's a jap import, the bike isn't road worthy really as its been stood for about 15 years !! I could service the forks and put new tyres on etc but no point if I'm gonna swop stuff about...
Amazingly the tank is like brand new inside
Thanks guys, think I'm gonna go with a bandit rear wheel but the bike came with a 3 spoke 4.5" rear, I assume 600 bandit maybe, can a 170 go on that size rim?
not sure about front end yet...
The frame needs painting so might as well brace it first
Hey guys, picked up this 750 Kat thats been stood to ages, just deciding what to do with it, restore back to standard (ish) or build something a bit better, funds allowing !
