  1. According to race tech, it is the same spring for the 91-92 750 and the 91-93 1100. Interesting given the forks look way different internally, and are even a different brand (Showa 750, KYB 1100)
  2. My 90 forks are canadian, so USD, the 1100 forks are from a US bike, also USD. I have looked at the fiche and the 750 forks (US 91) are markedly different internally from the 91 1100 forks. I know it's just a drawing, but they look a lot different than the 750, and keep looking the same, old school damper rod style (almost) further into the 90s.
  3. Its going to be an 1100 engine in there so not worried about the weight much. Thanks for the replies gents.
  4. I bought some new fork springs for some 91 1100 forks, but have decided to use the 90 750 forks. Does anyone know if these springs are the same length? TIA
  5. oil-cooled porn shot if i ever saw one...
  6. Cool thanks. Yes. Would like to fine tune on a dyno. After dropping a whole wad of $ on the carbs and other parts though, that may have to wait until next year. $ will be going to tires and trackdays this year....
  7. Yes... that is what is supplied. I am sure that's what's in the carbs. They have the same baseline jets listed for GSXR 750 & 1100, GS 1000 & 1150, and KZ 1000 & 1100. Wondering what people have actually used in the end. Sure the 750 and the 1100 would running different jets... I know in a factory pro stage 3 kit between the 750 and 1100 is something like 132.5 vs. 150
  8. I just picked up a new set of RS38s from APE (with pods). I was wondering if anyone would like to share their jetting specs... I'd like to get a good ballpark before I put them on. I was told by APE that they are pre "configured" for a GSXR 1100 (1127 speciifcallY), but I was wondering how close it is. Another rep I spoke to when I ordered said "the jetting is up to you". Any experience there? Obv they will need to be fine tuned, but if I can get it as close as possible before losing a trackday with an obnoxiously running bike, that would be great. My set up will be stock 1127 engine, dyna coils, pod filters, hindle 4-2-1 pipe.
  9. what are you running for jets? I just got a set of RS38s and am looking for a baseline before install. Thanks!
  10. +1 the washers will just make it a clip richer
  11. I am interested in this as well... don't need 2 keys for my track bike...
  12. watch you don't suck that beard in thar
  13. Dyno jet needles do not work with OEM emulsion tubes and OEM needles don't work with dynojet emulsion tubes. This is something I have read...
  14. I have had bad experience with Dyno-jet kits. Factory Pro kits, though expensive, work well. Worth the money to me.
