Its such good fit I really would not weld it, its gonna ping all over the shop, the boss really good alloy, the cover horrible stock soft cast rubbish.
I go for a specific bonding product thats capable with standing oil and say 150 oC or something.
I'm sure loctite must do something, there is real large area inside, you would be able to apply plenty and external see nothing.

You could just take all the insides out so you get the look and noise without the power loss.

My Ape valve springs were dam awful for breaking gone back to stock and shimmed as much as I could.

Top notch running gear, well upper end of the ‘normal’ range anyway. Frame will be de lugged & braced plus generally tidied up as some of the original welding & fab is quite rough! Should be a cool thing.
