  1. There are several frame builders that used this central tube style. EGLI; RAU; Fischer; SEGONI; and many more home brew framebuilders
  2. This is the only picture I have without the tank. Wrong engine inside No I'm not planning to race the bike.
  3. Okay, thanks for that. I'll try to get one of R6 shocks and try my best. Cheers
  4. That's why I'm asking. Tried yesterday one of an earlier R1, there the canister is on 90°, but it's a little bit shorter. It lowers the seathight about 50mm. So not good to use this one in a slabby. But there are later on versions of the R6 shock, where the canister is also on 90°. What length does your shock have? Is ist identical to the slabby shock?
  5. Is that the one you're talkin' about? Same length as slabby original? Cheers
  6. Thanks for that. Google helped to find it. Will have a look on it.
  7. Morning everybody, digged out the slabby of my wife, as she decided to do some miles with her bike, that she didn't touched for over a year. New year, old probs. Put some K&Ns on it and tried to do some rejetting, but never found the right jet size an needle position. Problem is, that the bike runs from start up to 6000 rpm nearly perfect, but then it feels like loosing power. What setups are you guys using on original carb with single K&N filters? Does anybody has some advice for me? Would like to safe the money for dyno runs, but would also like that my wife has fun riding her bike. Actual she's always grumbling.... Thanks in advance
  8. Made a push rod with 97mm. Works fine.

  16. So you try to import a german registered bike, get it road legal in Uk and than export it back to germany to have it also road legal? Sounds like a plan, but I don't think that it is possible. Because of the existing german registration you will have problems. But keep me updated on this.
  17. Don't think that this would pe possible, because it's already registered in germany. With an initial import it might be an option, so as many people have done it with the known trick frames from UK.
  18. Wrote an email to renstar, but the answered not to sell them anymore. Tried to get a set of used ones, but no luck at all.
  19. This one looks similar. It's from the Schwantz Yoshimura GS700, but I do not know if they ever were sold.
  20. Grabbed this Yoshi engine case. I know there is one for the generator and starter, but never found one for sale.
  21. Bandit 1200 has fuel indicator, but the dimensions of the tanks are the same.
  22. Here's the link: www.mikuni-topham.de
  23. MIKUNI Topham says that the sideword throttle cable retainer is an option for the carbs with 77-93-77 distance between the several carb bodys. Don't know why, but that's what the catalog says. Hope that helps...
