  1. Time to try new things out. Had the luck to get my fingers on parts of an old Sims and Rohm Supercharger kit. It's only the charger with intakte and carb adapter. Special engine case for starter clutch is missing. So I have to build one for my own. First idea was to put it into a slabby frame, but that wouldn't be possible without modifying the upper frame rails. So I have to go the slingshot way. Charger is in very good condition. Was imported from USA years ago. Owners plan was to put it on a EGLI Kwaksaki, but never done it, because lots of nodifications required. So he sold it. To me! First things to do: modification of starter clutch case and sourcing out the missing parts to drive the charger. Don't want to use a V-belt, want to use a toothed belt. Have to do some search for the ratio of the toothed belt discs. Not much Informations available. More coming soon.
  2. Yes you are right, it's one of the interrupter pumps. Sorry for inconvenience
  3. Last week I installed a fuel-pump from an CBR600, that is pressure regulated. Had not much time to test it, but after a short roll-out it seems to be much better. No starvation at full throttle anymore and by the way no leaking carb in combination with the pump.
  4. My suggestion is that the small float bowl is not the real problem. I think the problem is the small diameter of the float bowl valve, that restricts the flow to fill the bowl in a efficient way and time.
  5. After some test rides it turned out, that I'll need a fuel pump. As discussed in the thread from clivetgo gravity fuel supply does not work. After short time with full throttle and boost the float bowl is empty and the motor starves. I'll go the way using the fuel pump, that was built into the system when I bought the bike. Does anybody has some advice for good spark plugs? Actually I'm using NGK spark plugs, but if these plugs get wet once, they do not make any good sparks. Heard about Denso spark plugs, that were better. Can anybody confirm this? Thanks
  6. Some things to do, but nearly finished.
  7. Than it'll be worth a try to leave the pump out and do a test. Thanks for that.
  8. What do you mean with <<gravity drain>>? I run my draw thru setup with HSR and H*nd* CBR 600 fuel pump, that's running in pulse mode and does not create a constant pressure. Would like to remove the pump, if it's possible to get the system working without it.
  9. If I remember right, 750 slabside and 1100 are the same. Am I right? These are the center to center spacing of the 1100 slabside. Left and right side are different. Left one is brakelever and right one is shiftlever

I meant you should try to get a JMC swingarm or similar and put it in, the look was very cool with those enlongated swingarm.
  11. Some milling, some drilling, some welding.

Try to rebuild this upper cool swingarm, Looks like JMC.
  13. If I remember right, it's of an GSXR1000 K5. But you have to make an adapter plate and some further mods to the sidestand.
  14. Had the same problem on mine. Engine mount cracked. I only use the rear mounting point of the original sidestand on the frame, with a modified sidestand of a later K-serie.
  15. Found some time to solder the fuel tap flange into the tank. Have to perform a pressure test to be sure the soldering is tight. After that it's time to take the parts to the painter. I actually have no idea what colour.

Be aware to use a bandit ignition lock, as the needed resistor is in the ignition lock. If you do not want to, you have to add the resistor in the wiring to the ECU.
  17. Sounds like a Plan. Curious Turbine inlet, but definitely possible to adapt. Thanks.
  18. Thanks Arttu. You're right. Seems to be a KKK K04-023. It's a Chinese copy. May be it's worth a try.
  19. Have to grind one of the Main bearing seats, to get more bearing clearance. Can't use other bearing shells, because this seat has already green ones.
  20. Isn't that big as it looks on the foto. Thought it would be worth for bike use.
  21. Can anybody identify this turbo charger? There is no label, no Marks, no sings, no numbers, nothing on it. Any kind of Information welcome... Thanks
