  3. Need a rear B6 520 sprocket, but not having any luck finding one from the usual places (done a site search too!). Are there any from other models that would fit the Bandit carrier? I assume the Teapot/Bandit front ones are interchangeable, but if anybody knows different... Ta
  4. I can vouch for their work, they are very good. I think they offer a strip/rebuild service, but they prefer the bare stanchions (if I remember correctly).

  11. Anybody know where I can find split header flanges to suit Bandit exhaust? I had to chop mine off, so bad was the steel-ally interaction Don’t want to mess about chopping the pipes about, but don’t want to waste an otherwise fine set of headers either... Have looked on the webz, but can only find stuff for German luxo-barges. Oops, posted this twice cos on first attempt it refused to upload. Sorry, pls delete one of them!

  17. Cheers mate, but it’s for the 550 project which has absolutely bugger all clearance with a 600 one in there. The 600 pivot is 38mm OD so the extra 4mm would definitely foul the crankcase. Never mind

  19. Please could some kind soul tell me if a the outer diameter of a Bandit 1200 swingarm at the pivot is greater than a 600 one. A measurement would do, I have a 600 one to compare. Ta muchly

Hallo mate, just saw your sweet looking bike on t’other thread I can tell you it’s a bloody tight fit, still haven’t got it all measured up properly yet, (horrible virusy thing making me feel like crap) but hope to make a bit of progress tomorrow... After much mocking-up (loosely) of rear suspension components, it’s gonna be easier to use a twin-shock setup (the official line is that it looks more period ). Of course that means extra bracing, but no harm in that. A lot of things I’ve come across have been annoyingly close to fitting, but dont, ho-hum. I think (could be wrong) that 750 frames are larger, so you could probably save a good bit of hassle if you had one of them to start from, but where’s the fun in that? Sorry, mis-read your post as fitting GSXR750 motor! Told you I was ill!
  21. Quite possibly a daft question, but are slabby headlamp fairings (400-1100) all the same size, and are the mounts/light units interchangeable across the models and years?
