  1. Big blocks without cooling passages between 1-2 and 3-4 cylinders tends to get hot when standing in traffic lights. My solution is to avoid them and enjoy the countrysidexD. Streetable - yes, if you are aware the heat problem.

Fuel mileage... all that I have put in the tank have gone.

  2. If I remember right you only need new spacers for the swingarm axle and sort the linkage setup. K series linkage/dogbone setup is a bit different desing.  I had k series shock and no clearance issues with that.

  3. Newer swings have different linkage setups so you need to sort that. They also use way bigger axles so you need new spacers for the bearings. You might also get some chainline issues with k -series wheels. K-series wheels are totally different compared to 1100 ones.

  4. So it sounds it is worth doing. Is there something else than block return oil pipes, block the external head oil feed, fit gsx cam sprockets, chain tunnel rework, efe studs and gasket?

  5. I have slightly damaged efe engine waiting for pickup. Seller discribed the damage and I am not sure about the head is it worth repairing.

Dont want to sell my kidney to get a replacement. Gsxr heads are so much cheaper and I have always wanted to do this gsxr to gsx head swap. Is it worth doing or should I just keep the gsx head. I know I can do it but just want some opinions.

Engine will be NA big bore with efi

  6. It looks quite high to me. I know it will feel "slower" to turn if you lower the rear end more. Headstock angle changes as you know. My bike was a bit higher at the back before I decided to go turbo. I did lower it few years ago and now it goes like a train. It was better to ride twisties when arse was higher but now it is more stable and better suited for straightline fun.

Slam that to the ground :)
