SlingshotSteve Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 both for gsxr 1100 K model1 where is the cdi box located? If someone can tell me it will save me pulling all the rear bodywork off looking for it2 did they all come with a hugger as standard? Or did any come with a chain guard only? Quote
Captain Chaos Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 1 remove all the rear bodywork and you will find the CDI on the right side of the battery box.2 hugger standard, just like all Slingshots. Quote
SlingshotSteve Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 Cheers I think I can see the cdi down next to the battery, I will have to find myself a hugger at some point. Quote
RojoMojo Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Hi, for a hugger try contacting 'Katana' on this site, I was looking for a hugger (which I have now got), he offered me 3... I got it else where so he may still have them. Quote

jamie k Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 im not sure if your trying to put something back to standard or what , but most huggers will fit with minimal work as there is actually very little holds them on in the first place and generally all fit the same size tyres at , i had a few zxr ones that have pretty much bolted straight onto k series gsxrs Quote
