Dezza Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Check up on the MOT history via the DVLA, which will show where the bike has been tested. You can apply for an owner history using form v888 but unless you are the registered keeper of the vehicle you have to have a very good reason for this, e.g. you were involved in an accident with said vehicle. They won't give you the address of the vehicle's keeper if you simply want to buy the vehicle. Quote
teltwosheds Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Had that happen a couple of times Frick Frick Frick. Bloody annoying, good luck in finding it. Quote
drooper Posted February 11, 2018 Author Posted February 11, 2018 cheers for the replys guys but looks like i've drawn a blank trying to track it down. Quote
Rabs Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Tricky business tracking down our old rides . Two of my gsxr' are sorned so out there somewhere i did manage to track down a Pontiac Trans am I once owned but where it is now I've know idea Quote
Dezza Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 The mot history on the DVLA website for any vehicle until very recently used to tell of where the vehicle had its past mot's done, and this would give a likely locality of where the owner was based but it seems like this is now not available. canamant Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Your mate broke the golden rule. That's why I don't sell bikes. Got a few out on permanent loan at the moment to a few friends. They might be the registered keeper but not the owner. Quote
