Carb float adjustments on dot heads

Hi,

Carbs are usually set up horizontally on GSXR or B12 cylinder heads.

However on 88-89 GSXR750 dot heads, the carbs are set at an angle (pointing downwards).

For those of you that have installed GSXR750 dot heads onto your GSXR engine (or Bandit 1200) while keeping your OEM carbs, did you need to readjust the floats?

Any insight would be appreciated!

I ran RS38s on stock fuel hights no probs......."well aside from the fuel tap being in the way"

It now makes sense (to me). This morning I was imagining a motorcycle as it goes uphill and downhill. The carb floats keep working in the same fashion as when traveling on an horizontal road.
