Ignition problem

Hello guys,

i'm having some difficulties with my teapot. I have no spark.

ground 12 volt, coils 12v, 1 volt ac from crankshaftsensor, and ignitor is sending out 5 volt to tps. But no spark. I feel like im missing something obvious. I've allready put another cdi on it wich didn't help.

Can someone relate?

Also there are according to the electrical scheme 2 wires with 5 volts on in going to the neutral switch. But the manual doesn' t refer to them. So i don't know what they are for,

TPS on a teapot? Sounds more like a binnedit

Has this ever run in this configuration? Don't understand the neutral switch reference as these usually have one wire that is just grounded in neutral. Busa's had two wire switches so ecu knew what gear was used for timing retard - can't see why its fitted to a teapot though!

Sounds more like a bandit 12 to me, tps + wheelie wires, so prob the old 100 ohm resistor trick...

later teapots ('98 on) have the TPS.

And the resistor in the ignition lock. No resistor = no spark

There ya go, learn summat new every day!! Does sound very much like resistor missing or ignition switch breaking down so CDI not seeing it...

found it eventually. Bridged the ignition switch  but there is a resistor in it. so it doesn't work with 0 volts or 12 volts but only with 1 volt.  this took me 2 days
