1127 bst36ss Carb setup?

Just wondering what kind of jets and exhaust/filters people are running? Got a bad misfire low down and into mid but clears right up past 5/6 thou and the bike pulls like a train, sometimes wheeling and going light on the front. Replaced plugs, plug caps, ht leads, coils, a leaky inlet rubber, valve clearances checked, just rebuilt the carbs replaceing some o rings, nothing is worn or broken. Running Vance and Hines super sport system, the stock air box rubbers with ram air foams pulled over them. Has 144 main jets and 40 pilots. 2 turns out on the mixture and bottom notch on the needles. Bike is a 7/11 appears to have the 750 loom. Not sure if the cdi is different between 750 / 1100?

Any help much appreciate. Cheers.

I expect the pilot jets are a size too small, normally need 42.5 when not using airbox and either individual or pod filters. The needle taper might be wrong for the filters/exhaust set-up - try lifting the needle up a notch or two. As long as the ignitor box is from the same generation 750 it's fine - just don't rev it to 750 levels, the std rev counter over reads, so 11500 revs would be safe - would be around 10700 true revs.

Miss W, is running bst36mm b12 carbs on her 1127, K&N twin filters, Cobra down pipe's with home made end can, 150 main jets, 3 turns out on the pilot jets and the needles set in the center.

Has no miss fire or back popping and goes like fu*k :)
