Fitting new Clutch

Doofer

Recommended Posts

Ive got a Bandit 1200 s, MK1, 1997. Im seriously thinking of replacing my clutch plates. Im trying to find a video link for instruction to re-build the clutch. The only footage i can find is for 600 clutch rebuild. I have a mechanical back ground and i know how to use tools, I just dont want any surprises along the way when taking things apart. Any advise on what to look out for and any hints on the replacement. Cheers peoples...

Dont use kevlar plates with fully synthetic oil either, mine lasted ooooh 15 miles maybe. Ended up binning it and doing the mod. You can use the teapot 11 clutch parts as well as slabby, they are slightly different but held up fine on my nitrous drag bike...
