clivegto Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Cam cover on my gsxr1000k1 motor has what look to be 2 breathers on the cam cover but underneath them the arm some little reed valves opening inwards. What are they for? Edited February 16 by clivegto Quote
gray711 Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Think that’s something to do with the pair valve Clive. 1 Quote
clivegto Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 Have no pair valve fitted so I've joined them together and blocked the airbox connection. I'll vent the engine breather to the atmosphere as well I think. Hopeful no fault codes will come up. Quote
Upshotknothole Posted Monday at 03:35 AM Posted Monday at 03:35 AM They're reed valves. Keep the reeds and block off the covers. The hoses are just emissions crap. https://gsxrzone.com/reedplates.html 2 Quote
