Pegleg Posted Monday at 10:45 AM Posted Monday at 10:45 AM (edited) Looking for recommendations for a compact FPR with boost ref and a fuel pump for the Bandit. Tried searching the site but didn't turn anything up. Edited Monday at 10:46 AM by Pegleg Quote

Tried searching the site but didn't turn anything up. Need more info! Rail mounted or standalone FPR? What level of boost expected determines the potential pressure the pump will have to deal with - flow goes down as boost goes up so limiting potential HP or increasing lean running possibility! And a Bosch 044 is not the automatic answer! Quote

Running TD04 and aiming for 250/300 wheel bhp, so maybe a heavier spring needed. GSXR1000K1 throttle bodies with 790cc injectors. Working through it with@Arttubut don't want to keep pestering him for simple stuff. He's been brilliant. Quote
Arttu Posted Monday at 07:47 PM Posted Monday at 07:47 PM For external pump a Walbro GSL392 is one good choice. Flows enough for 400-500hp on gasoline and it's pretty much as compact as they get. Reasonably priced as well. Pressure regulators are more tricky. There are those fancy billet ones from brand names. They are usually relatively bulky and expensive. Quality is usually ok but can vary more than what you would expect for that price. Aeromotive and AEM ones have been good based on my experience, just to name some. Then another group is chinese copies from previous ones. They are naturally cheaper and quality varies more. But if you check them carefully you may get perfectly usable stuff for decent money. If you are lucky... OEM quality car regulators are unfortunately hard to find since most of the cars have the regulator in tank or inegrated on the fuel rail. But there are some aftermarket housings for Bosch regulator modules. So some of these could be a good option, reliable quality at decent price. Here are a couple of examples of these: https://www.design911shop.com/p/remote-fuel-pressure-regulator-housing---94mm https://www.efihardware.com/products/2336/EFI-Hardware-Fuel-Pressure-Regulator-Damper-Housing 1 Quote
Danm54 Posted Monday at 08:41 PM Posted Monday at 08:41 PM I have a Walbro GSL392 and Fuelab regulator, worked well when it was installed and fairly compact. Not sure if you're after used parts but it'll be on my for sale post when I get around to updating it. Quote
