Upshotknothole Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Doing a front end swap and I don’t want the 6 pots and I can’t afford $1K for Brembos. What’s a good swap at a reasonable price? Quote
TLRS Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Nissin(triumph) 4 pot or if you feel flush, 6 pot Nissin. Alcon did 6 pot for Triumph but probably difficult to find. 1 Quote

TLRS Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I think late 90ies but best wait for a grown up to confirm Quote
Dezza Posted January 14 Posted January 14 The Brembos from Aprilia Milles and Ducrappy 749, 999 (the ones with 4 dinky little pads) are ace and don't cost a grand. You'll need brackets and spacers but it's not rocket surgery to fit them to Suzuki forks . Quote
Upshotknothole Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 I've seen the kits with the brackets and the Brembo calipers, with exchange and shipping they're about $1K from the UK. Last local guy I knew that had fabrication capabilities ripped off a bunch of friends, so he's no longer an option. I wish my garage was about 3x bigger and I could fit the tools to make them myself. Only Nissin 6 pots on Eblag right now are asking $2K, gonna take a look at webike and see what I can find. Also will see if I can find brackets on their for the Brembos. Quote
Upshotknothole Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 (edited) Ok, found the regular Nissin 6 pots on WeBike for about $500 and ordered them. Damn motorcycles are expensive. The Nissin racing 6 pots are the ones going for $2K. Edited January 14 by Upshotknothole more info 1 Quote

Looking forward to these Nissin callipers. Edited Monday at 07:35 PM by Upshotknothole Nissin not Nissan, damn autocorrect. Quote

I already ordered mine from WeBike and got them pretty fast. Now I wait on the rest of the parts. Quote
