Brians 7/12 Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 (edited) Just bought some… going to be using B12 Mk1 rubbers… also Airbox rubbers from GSX1100F which are odd lengths… or should I get some proper trumpets !? longer or shorter ones for more low/mid !? & which Ramair Socks do I need for this combo?… MS-011’s !? These are them… previous owner might be on here… I believe being D9L… the Bell Crank has been repositioned to the Centre so assuming they’re now D3K technically… but I’m sure someone with better knowledge will let me know Neverless… they’re in good condition so I’m Happy Edited December 26, 2024 by Brians 7/12 2 Quote
Dezza Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Standard position of the throttle bracket on RSs is central, between 2 and 3. If it's on the side or between 1 and 2 or between 3 and 4, then it's been re-positioned. 1 Quote

Dezza Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 On the RS parts fische it shows a different throttle opening rod is necessary for the left position. To move to between 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 doesn't need any additional parts to the rod for a central position. 1 Quote
Upshotknothole Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 (edited) You want Ramair MS-006 and proper bell mouths will work better than stock air box rubbers. Longer velocity stacks move the power lower, shorter higher. Center throttle carbs tend to be the standard and more common option available. Edited December 26, 2024 by Upshotknothole info 1 Quote
