Mr S Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Looks clean! Did they come with 4 pot front calipers or have they been replaced? Always thought they were 6 pots up front... Quote

Matt-Man Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Welcome to the worlD of V-Twin torque! Is it still running the original rotary damper? I’d also have a good look at the fork Stanctions on the rear facing side as they tend to wear out on that side. The left fork is prone to failing first for some reason. Check the cast part of the headstock for cracks. The tend to originate on n the underside where the smalL plastic insert bolts in. Lots of mods you can do to improve them. dago Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Rotary damper looks new/ rebuilt, will see how it goes as I don't really ride hard , it's a 2001 model. 24000 miles every thing you said looks ok. Have been doing a bit of research before and after I bought it so got a few ideas. Thanks or the advice as I'm used to old skool air cooled stuff so a whole new learning curve for me Quote
