Hi,I have an 1100H that I've been running 1100M forks and yokes in for a few years.

I'm putting a k8 1000 front end in now.I have a bearing conversion kit,but the ground top bearing race is wider in diameter than the frame bearing cup.resulting in the tapered bearing fauling the bearing cup in the frame. The only way I can see a way around this is to either shim the bearing race up,or grind a tapered relief clearance in the frame under the race.any info appreciated.TIA

Since the bottom bearing is the same on both bikes, can the M stem be pressed into the K yoke ? Unless the K yoke is much thicker, it should be good ?

Hi,I used the 30x55x17 on the bottom with a seal washer, and a 30x47x12 on the top.I bought a kit but it's really not worth it as you can buy those bearings readily.the top bearing they sent in the kit had a ground down race, which allowed the bearing to protrude and foul the frame,so just got one of Eblag and it's fine.

I believe so but I just got a new stem made, wasn't expensive.
