Ricardo498
Hi,I have an 1100H that I've been running 1100M forks and yokes in for a few years. I'm putting a k8 1000 front end in now.I have a bearing conversion kit,but the ground top bearing race is wider in diameter than the frame bearing cup.resulting in the tapered bearing fauling the bearing cup in the frame. The only way I can see a way around this is to either shim the bearing race up,or grind a tapered relief clearance in the frame under the race.any info appreciated.TIA Edited September 29 by Ricardo498 Quote Link to comment
george 1100
I just did a K8 1000 fork install on my slabby. Used 30x55x17 on the bottom and 30x47x12 on the top 1 Quote Link to comment
spiderpig
I'd just get the stem swapped/another made. Use the original bearings. Never liked those swap bearings. 2 Quote Link to comment
