Feelergaugephil Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Hi all, 1st post, but was here long ago... back again. Im looking for a new or decent 4 into 1 exhaust for 80 GS1000G, the G is the shaft version. Harris quit making them and Delkevic don't make them for my model... anyone? Phil Quote
DAZ Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Hi , welcome back , do you have anywhere near you that could bend you a link pipe ? If so buy a set of headers for a std GS, a can and get a link pipe bent to suit , and Bob's your aunties husband 1 Quote
wraith Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Welcome back, I had a Delkevic exhaust on my gs1000g. It was ment for the chain drive but as I wasn't using there end can I just needed to make a bracket up for the end can. But l also didn't have rear pegs or standard foot rests. 1 Quote
gs7_11 Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Suzuki Performance list a Marving for the shafty. SPS GS1000G System I'd be surprised if the Delkevic needed more than a bracket fabricating. Here's one on my GS7/11 thingy, with mk 1 homemade bracket. Quote
TonyGee Posted September 13 Posted September 13 yeah im sure any GS1000/GSX1100 exhaust will fit but you might have to make a rear mounting bracket. Quote
bitzz Posted September 13 Posted September 13 I'll tell you the best offered currently is the Hindle/Ripple Rock Racers 4>2>1 https://www.ripplerockracers.com/product/suzuki-gs1000-hindle-stainless-steel-exhaust-systems-to-fit-1978-80/ Quote
Feelergaugephil Posted September 14 Author Posted September 14 Thank you all, great comments. I'll be getting a message off to Delkevic. Quote
Feelergaugephil Posted September 14 Author Posted September 14 Question to all.... Do I go ahead and buy the Delkevic GS1000E, or GS1100? Quote
