Stage 1 yosh cams

Recommended Posts

I’ve got an gsxr 1100  with yosh cams. The notches on the cam ends are typically on the right side of the head.the exhaust cam notch is on the left side.the sprocket bolts are both on the right side.does yosh regrind an intake cam for the exhaust cam or is my exhaust cam in backwards.

I Had a pair of "yoshi" cams in a head that caused a similar dilemma

they were fitted with the cam marks on the RHS of engine "sat on bike"

this meant that the zorst cam sprocket bolts were opposite to the intake.........

Never found out why but it ran fine and to best of my knowledge still is

Whats the back story to where you now find yourself ?

did you just buy the cams with no info ?

Took it apart for a reason ?

another reason ?

did the previous owner every have it running ?

if it was mine i would swop the zorst cam end for end and turn it over slowly with plugs out....

But its not :v
