I'm looking for a new exhaust system for my bike, one with a larger bore at the manifold, does anyone now of a good manifold from another bike that would fit with the fairings still on that won't break the bank?

Can't find many new aftermarket ones that are under a £1000 lol

750 or 1100? Some 1100 headers clear 750 plastics, some melt them. Same with 750 headers on 1100s, some clear the pan, some don't. Hindle makes full exhausts that are on the cheaper end. Post up in the wanted section and see if anyone is looking to sell a used one?

I got Black Widow blandit race xD full system, fits my 1100 slingy with fairings and my project GS 650 with 1100 engine. Very lightweight and looks to be good quality.

Sorry forgot to put price, £250

Do you know if that will fit a Gsxr 750 1985 mate? What bandit model did you go for?

Have a look on the Black Widow site, they may do one specific to a GSXR 750, the one I have was for the Blandit race series, 4 headers and 4-1 collector with springs .

Where are you located? NRP exhausts near Ollerton did me a bespoke stainless 4-2-1 with downpipes of two different diameters - smaller coming out of exhaust port then enlarged half way down like on race bikes. He made it to fit as tight to the bike as possible so it went within my fairing. All for 400 quid (I kid you not but this was before covid). He specialises in pipes for classic race bikes and is one of the few people out there that undercharges.

A system designed for a Blandit is likely to require a Blandit sump, which means your oil cooler fittings are going to need changing too :).

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your advice, unfortunately I need to go for whatever is the cheapest route at the moment.

Dezza that sounds like a cool system you've got on there,

I was thinking about making my own, I've got a tig welder and can weld pipe but I'm not sure about the bending of the tubes, you could do pie cuts or pre bend sections but then I could see that getting expensive too lol
