Gsxr oil coolers

I've searched, but couldn't find an answer.

I'm not keen on the curved oil cooler on my 1990 750, it has no fairing so it looks a bit odd.

Can I swap it for an earlier flat one? Do the pipes differ?

I believe I can't use bandit, but wondered if all the oil cooled gsxr ones interchange.

I see slabside and slingshot have different connectors, but will they interchange if the relevant pipes are used too?

If you get an earlier flat one it will be over 30 years old!!!   get a new one like this on an old 7/11 i did ages ago..

That does look, and no doubt work, much better.

Hadnt really considered going new. I guess as long as the size is ok, the pipework can just be made up.

Yup make all the hoses myself from torques bits, easy peasy..

19 row? An10, that the right size pipework?

Yup 19 row, an8 and 10, some people say 8 is too small but I’ve has an8 on my bandit for Donkies years and it’s fine

Billet bike bits on face book sell all the brackets to make those coolers fit. I've just picked up a cheap cooler on AliExspress

25mm ally angle from ebog, 15 quid, cut it to fit, enough to make top and bottom brackets. much cheaper than bought ready made ones.

Exactly what I've just done. Think you meant 50mm @fatblokeonbandit Couple hours with a hacksaw and drill.
