Pauly Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Writing another list for engine parts for my Kat 750, and it looks like it has an 810? Kit fitted to it. (Pistons are 69.9 dia) Need to check bores for sizes, but if ok would like to just put in new rings…my question is, can you buy just new wiseco rings, and who from? I live in Perth WA, not that posting things is that much of an issue….apart from added cost! cheers in advance, Paul Quote
wraith Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 If Wiseco still do the kit you can get rings with no problems, if not they still may have rings Quote

johnr Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 measure the ring gaps in the bores before buying new rings. if yours are within spec, it seems pointless to replace them. Quote
Pauly Posted August 24, 2023 Author Posted August 24, 2023 Cheers for the help guys, will check the gaps thanks. Quote
Pauly Posted August 24, 2023 Author Posted August 24, 2023 (edited) Anyone know manufacturer/make of these pistons? This is the only markings I can see, tops are flat with the angled clearance for the valves. Top 2 rings are 0.8mm thick, oil ring is 1.4mm thick. Thanks again Edited August 24, 2023 by Pauly Addition Quote
