slingy ignition fit to newer K series yokes

Yes. You have to file the two tall mounting planes down on the underside of the yoke for the lock to line up to the surface, and on the K yokes with offset igntion (K7-K8) the steering lock obviously won't line up. The K5 i think is central igntion but i have only used 7-8 on my builds so cannot comment on lock function

@Joseph thanks, that looks the same as 600/750 yoke.

can i ask if those raised clip ons are ali express or something else?

It is indeed a K7 600 fork, so yep

The raisers and bars i used here were from LSL

Hello, does anyone know if the slingshot ignition barrel will fit in to the later model gsxr 600/750 K5,6,7,8,9,yoke?

cheers

Yes it does. You might need to get a new key cut though onto one of the newer long keys. Ive done this exact thing on my slingshit with K7 yokes.

edit: I didnt want to chop up the slingy ign barrel so I got the plastic top off a K barrel and fitted than onto the slingy one so it all fitted properly. Thats why I needed the longer key. This also means the top of the ign barrel looks a lot neater than a tatty old slingy one
