Suzuki UK GSX1100 and US GS1100

I was just about to purchase a V&H four into one megaphone exhaust system when out of interest I thought I would check out the prices from the states for the apparently same thing. The same exhaust from the U.S is over £100 cheaper. Am I correct in thinking the only differences between the UK and US bikes are a larger tank and in the states they are called GS as opposed to GSX over here. Thanks again David.

There's a few differences between 'our' GSX's and 'their' GS's, mainly in the emissions dept. Physically, dimensions are the same. So, pipes will fit!  Why not contact the supplier, and tell him your engine specs, and he'll advise you?

Don't forget import taxes and vat that get added on by the freight co. on behalf of the Gubmint!

Thanks for the reply's...I forgot all about the freight taxes and VAT. By the time the buggers have finished with me there wont be much of a saving I'll wager. Serves me right for being a tight arse.

Go onto Suzuki performance.co.uk and see his prices. By the time you pay taxes etc you will possibly be cheaper buying it here. You could also try Debben Performance .

Thanks for that Kitkatman, I ended up getting one from Suzuki Performance in the end cracking shop and mega fast delivery...hope it sounds as good as it looks.
