Oilyspanner Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I think it was getting on for £80 with VAT added on when it arrived from the US John - only £40 out there I think, hell of a lot cheaper than here anyway (there were a couple places over here that were about £85). . . . if you know someone out there it would save you lots if you had them sent on as a present - actually everything is cheap out there ! Dr Jon Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 If you only need a couple then you can just buy them individually on Eblag by searching the 9.48mm diameter. I bought a couple for my 600 (same diameter) which I think were actually listed as for a WR450 if I remember right. They're only a few quid each. Quote
Captain Chaos Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 if I need only a few I go to the bike parts shop around the corner, they sell them for 2 euros each and no need to wait. Quote
Dr Jon Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Ahh, bike parts shops round the corner, sadly not a concept famliar to us in the wilds of mid-Wales. It's a hundred mile round trip to my nearest bike parts shop so Eblag definitely makes things a lot easier round here for sure. Quote
Oilyspanner Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I'm just rubbish at waiting when I get the urge to do a job ! - it's normally at night and I want to get everything finished, I'll willingly spend to help with convenience. My old place of work will swap the shims for nothing, but it's a 36 mile round trip and as I said I'm impatient ! Happy Christmas Chaps and may all your projects turn out wonderful in the New Year ! Captain Chaos Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 yeah I'm lucky I work in a bike shop/workshop, stuff like oil and filters and spark plugs are off the shelf, stuff like valve shims and batteries I get from another shop, literally around the corner (5 min. walk). But this is the 2nd largest city in Lithuania with 400.000 inhabitants. Quote
