Guest Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Just trawling through old pics like you do now and again for inspiration and came across these. From some time ago and the old site. I think bike was being built by Strangewayze ? Just interested to know if it ever got completed. The engineering and thought that went into design of rear shock mounts and frame mod`s I`d never seen before. Tis a beauty Quote
Reinhoud Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 It looks nice, but I don't think it's going to work. Rear wheel seems to be too wide, sprocket has to go that far out that the chain wil run against the frame. Rear end is raised to much, so the chain will run over the swingarm. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Yup. The whole project was on the old site. Very talented lad! Quote
Captain Chaos Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 I copied it to the temporary site long ago, when I (as a moderator) still had access to the old site. Enjoy. https://old-skool-suzuki.proboards.com/thread/1017/strangewayz-gs1000-grebrod-old-site 4 Quote

That`s what I mean about the engineering and thought involved. The frame was cut away, re-inforced internally then a cover welded over top. Wish I still had the pics showing all the intricate work done. A very talented man. Take a look a Captain Chaos link above , well worth a look. You`ll see what I mean Edited February 8, 2022 by GS1000 78 Quote
