suzuki gt 750 kettle resto mod

so i have wanted a 2 stroke for a good many years , so i put a shout out on face ache and i bought a modified frame on a pallet 

some kawasaki wheels and forks , new re chromed stanchons , yamaha swingarm , ohlins rear shock remote pre load 

and some higgspeed gp pipes .

So what i bought was the last few pictures

I decided on mt09 wheels as i didnt want 3 spokes . I also wanted a radial brake set of forks

The modern gsxr 750 seat unit doesnt fit with my vision for the bike . But brembo calipers from america at a good price tax paid

Ok so few up dates , i spent a lot of time trying seat units from various builds i have . 

I decided to go for a Dunstall bodykit

I have also decided that headlights are a major headache . I have decided gsx1100 et . It actually looks good in my opinion

Another thing is swingarms.  Found an old skool metmachex swinger

Zxr 750 yokes , with 1050 triumph forks and 2013 brembo calipers . Real carbon mudguard with cutouts

These were made by havoc for paul m iirc i got them in a deal many moons ago

My resto but modern theme has me buying new copy old looking indicators and rear light , but i have a jeep wrangler headlight in an et shell

Been a long wait but finally arrived new fancy radiator for my kettle , great workman ship for the price less than £100 delivered

Finding the right headlight is a challenge indeed..

I've got this, the left shell, but about half of what I paid for it..

project is going no where i am still skint but its still here

ok so went to look at the kettle while collecting some parts i have sold .

i have decided to re start this build and put a finish date on it so here goes , stafford show is in october 2023 

thats it carved in internet history (so too speak)

I’m sure you’ll get there eventually @busa ashtime is the only thing we have plenty of, if we’re lucky. I’ve seen this and all your other awesome builds, will be a beauty when it’s finished.
