1989 slingshot 750 clutch cable route

I have bought a new clutch cable and fitted it,all works without binding but
on the right lock it bows up above the tachometer and touches the screen.
maybe I have it routed it wrong? Is there a picture of how it goes or can someone explain how it should fit

First three pictures shows correct clutch cable route , fourth picture shows the best angle positions for the small clutch lever for non activated position (red line), and for fully activated position (green line ) .
