colinworth79 Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 I've had a cylinder head sat in the loft for a while I purchased second hand that has been ported and skimmed . The inlet side has some titanium retainers fitted with different collets so the valve stem just sticks above the retainer . Is this going to be ok ? Valve springs look after market . Anyone seen something like this before ? No markings on the head . Quote
Gixer1460 Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Can't see a problem as long as the tappet nose strikes the centre of the valve head - just looks kind of odd! Quote
manden Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Check valve clearance for safety after skimming. Quote
