Vikingrob Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Hi guys. This is my first post. I have an 01 bandit 600 chopper and an 86-88 gsxr 1100 motor. I am considering putting the hydraulic clutch from the 1100 onto the 600 . Has anyone got any advice on what to look out for. The rod seems to long. If anyone has done this have you advice on how long it needs to be. Thanks Quote
Wee Man Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Not being funny, but would you not be better swapping out the 600 motor for the complete 1100 motor? Win, win...plus more poke. Oh please RTFR Quote
Vikingrob Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 I have a rolling chassis that I am gonna put the 1100 into once I finish the 600 so both motors will be used 1 Quote
Swiss Toni Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Some prefer the cable operation to hydraulic. Many go from hydro setup to cable. Just sayin’ Quote
wraith Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Welcome to OSS, Nice to see some pics of the projects the swap has been done but as @Swiss Toni says mostly the other way round. Someone on here will know the answer, Quote
